The Great Sour

Combine orange juice, sugar and lemon or lime quarters in a mixing glass. Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, muddle thoroughly. Add the bourbon and fill with ice. Shake and strain into a glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with a lemon or lime wedge.
